Evergreen 14in (35cm) Strip .040x.060in (10 per pack), part EVG143, is a pack of 10 white polystyrene strips for scale modelling. Each strip measures 350mm (14in) long, with a .040in (1mm) thickness and .060in (2mm) width. The strip profile can be used to create linear details such as structural bracing, trim and architectural mullions in scale models.
The polystyrene material can be cut with a craft knife or by scoring and snapping, then sanded to shape. It may also be heat-formed for subtle curves. Suggested compatibility includes liquid solvent cements for bonding polystyrene components. The opaque white surface can be painted with acrylic colours and used in railway modelling, wargaming, industrial design and architectural presentation work.
