Evergreen 14in (35cm) Strip .080x.156in (8 per pack), part number EVG167, is a pack of eight white polystyrene strips for scale modelling and scratch-building. Each strip is 350mm (14in) long and has a .080 x .156in profile, equivalent to approximately 2.0mm x 4.0mm. The strips are made from white polystyrene and are suited to creating straight structural details, trim, bracing and architectural features in model projects.
The material can be cut with a craft knife or scored and snapped, while sanding allows the profile to be adjusted for particular details. It can also be heat-formed for subtle curves where required. Liquid solvent cement can be used to join the strips to other polystyrene components. The opaque white surface provides a neutral base for acrylic paints and weathering powders, with the colour also making the strips easy to see during construction.
