Evergreen 14in (35cm) Strip .125x.125in (6 per pack), part number EVG186, is a pack of six white polystyrene strips for scale modelling and scratch-building. Each strip is supplied in a 14-inch (350mm) length with a square .125 x .125-inch profile, providing straight material for structural bracing, trim, architectural mullions and other linear details.
The strips are made from white polystyrene and are designed for use with liquid solvent cement. This allows them to bond to other polystyrene components by softening the adjoining surfaces. The material can be cut with a craft knife or scored and snapped, while sanding can be used to create tapered profiles. Heat forming also allows the strips to follow subtle curves where required.
