Evergreen 14in (35cm) Strip .125x.188in (6 per pack), part number EVG188, is a pack of six white polystyrene strips for scale modelling and scratch-building. Each strip is 350mm (14in) long and has a .125 x .188in profile, providing straight lengths for adding linear detail to model projects.
The strips can be used for structural bracing, trim, architectural mullions and other scratch-built features in railway modelling, wargaming, industrial design and architectural presentation models. Their white polystyrene construction provides a plain surface for painting with acrylics and applying weathering powders.
Evergreen polystyrene strip can be cut with a craft knife or scored and snapped for shorter sections. It can also be sanded to alter the profile or heat-formed for subtle curves. Liquid solvent cement is suitable for bonding the strips to other polystyrene components, creating a fixed joint once the cement has set.
