Description

Evergreen 24 Strip .125 x .156 (EVG387) is a pack of 9 units of white polystyrene strip for model making. Each unit is a 600mm (24in) length with a .125 x .156in profile, providing a continuous strip for structural details, trim and scratch-built components. The material is polystyrene and the profile is supplied in white, making it suitable for representing items such as steelwork, timber or masonry in scale models.

These strips can be cut, scored, snapped, sanded and drilled during fabrication. Liquid solvent cement can be used to create chemically fused joints between polystyrene parts, while the smooth surface accepts further modelling work or finishing. The 600mm length is useful where a longer uninterrupted section is required, reducing the need to join shorter pieces. This Evergreen strip is intended for model-making applications including architectural detailing, railway scratch-building and engineering prototypes.
