Description

Evergreen EVG388 is a pack of 8 Evergreen [388] 24 Strip .125 x .188 polystyrene strips for model-making and scratch-building. Each white strip measures 600mm (24 inches) long, with a 0.125-inch thickness and 0.188-inch width. The strip profile provides a consistent rectangular section for adding structural, architectural, railway and other fine details to scale models.

These strips are supplied in white polystyrene and can be worked by scoring, snapping, sanding and drilling. The material is also designed for use with liquid solvent cements, allowing adjoining polystyrene parts to be chemically fused. The 600mm length is suitable for longer runs where a continuous piece is preferred, while the selected 0.125 x 0.188-inch profile can be used where a narrow strip section is required.

Features

Evergreen offers strip in a range of thicknesses and widths; this EVG388 pack contains the .125 x .188-inch profile. The strips have a smooth, non-porous surface and can be incorporated into scratch-built components, trim, bracing and structural details. They are intended for model use and are recommended for ages 14 and over.
