Evergreen [429] 24 Round Tube (Telescoping) .281 (5 per pack), part number EVG429, is a pack of five telescoping round tubes for model-making and scratch-building projects. Each white tube has a round profile, a 7.14mm (.281 inch) diameter and a standard length of 600mm (24 inches). The thin-walled design allows the different Evergreen tube sizes to slide into one another, making this size suitable for creating adjustable supports, telescopic mechanisms and collapsible structures.

The tubes are made from polystyrene and can be cut or scored to the required length during construction. Their smooth white surface can be painted or weathered to represent materials such as steel or other industrial finishes. Polystyrene components can also be joined with suitable solvent cement when incorporated into a larger assembly.
