Description

Evergreen [5-153] 14 Strip 0.060 x 0.060 (50 per pack), part number EVG5-153, is a pack of 50 white polystyrene strips for model making. Each strip has a 0.060 x 0.060 profile and measures 350mm, or 14 inches, in length. The strips are supplied in white polystyrene and are intended for adding strip sections to architectural models, model vehicle framing and scratch-built structures.

The consistent square profile provides material for repeated structural details, including framework, lattice-work and scale representations of beams or bars. The polystyrene surface can be prepared with primers, acrylic paints and enamels. Liquid solvent cement can be used to form a cold-welded joint when building frameworks or joining strip sections, subject to the cement manufacturer's instructions.

With 50 strips in the pack, this product provides multiple lengths of the same profile for projects requiring repeated details or several construction stages. The 350mm length is suitable for workbench use while leaving scope for cutting individual sections to the required length. Evergreen also produces strip profiles in other stated widths and thicknesses, allowing different sections to be combined where a project calls for varied structural detail.
