Description

Evergreen 24 Strip .125 x .500 (EVG6-393) is a pack of 50 white polystyrene strips for model-making. Each strip is 24 inches, or 600mm, long, with a stated .125-inch thickness and .500-inch width. The material is white polystyrene with an opaque finish, making it suitable for creating strip details, trims and other fabricated elements in scale models, architectural projects and scratch-built work.

These strips can be cut, sanded and drilled to shape, allowing them to be prepared for a range of model-making applications. Liquid solvent cements can be used with the polystyrene to form joined sections, with the solvent softening the surfaces so they bond together as it evaporates. The 600mm length provides a continuous piece for projects where shorter sections would require additional joins.

Evergreen produces strip profiles in a range of thicknesses and widths, while this EVG6-393 pack contains the .125 x .500 profile. The consistent rectangular form can be incorporated into scratch-built structures, architectural details, railway modelling projects and general plastic-kit work where a white polystyrene strip is required.
