Description

Evergreen 24 Strip .188 x .750 (50 per pack), part number EVG6-405, is a pack of 50 white polystyrene strips measuring 600mm (24 inches) long, 4.8mm (.188 inches) thick and 19mm (.750 inches) wide. This strip is intended for plastic modelling, architectural work, railway modelling and scratch-building projects where a long, straight profile is required.

The polystyrene can be cut, sanded and drilled to shape, allowing it to be used for structural runs, architectural bracing, railway details and other constructed model components. Its white surface provides a consistent base for representing items such as steel beams, timber planks and industrial masonry, or for creating custom parts that can be finished as required.

Evergreen strip is designed for use with liquid solvent cement. The cement joins polystyrene by creating a cold-welded bond, making it suitable for assembling permanent joints between compatible plastic parts. The 600mm length can also help reduce the need for joining shorter sections when building larger-scale structures or extended details.
