Installation And Performance

Wet-Weather Care

This motor is not intended for submerged use. Before driving in wet conditions, check that the vehicle’s other electronics are marked water-resistant or waterproof, or are suitably enclosed and protected from moisture. Fans fitted to speed controllers are not water resistant, so disconnect the fan before wet running and let it dry fully before reconnecting power. After use, rinse away dirt and corrosive liquids such as saltwater with plain water, then re-lubricate exposed metal drivetrain parts including bearings, outdrives and differential shafts.
