Description
Spektrum Firma 150A Brushless Smart ESC V2 - 3S - 4S: IC5, part number SPMXSE2155CP, is a brushless electronic speed control for 3S to 4S LiPo-powered RC models. It provides a single-wire Smart telemetry connection, sending live information such as motor RPM, temperature, battery voltage and capacity to a compatible transmitter without separate telemetry modules or wiring.
The ESC uses a 32-bit ARM M4 processor and includes an IC5 connector, 4 mm bullet motor outputs, a cooling fan and an aluminium heat sink. Its adjustable BEC can provide either 6V or 7.4V output, while the compact case has mounting tabs for installation. The unit is supplied ready to install without soldering and supports forward and reverse operation, with braking also available.
Features
Settings can be adjusted using the control button, a Spektrum Smart ESC Programming Box or the SmartLink USB Updating and Programmer application. Firmware can be updated through the Smart ESC Programming Box. Protection functions include over-current protection, automatic LiPo low-voltage cutoff, thermal protection and failsafe protection. The ESC is designed for 3S to 4S LiPo input, covering 11.1V to 14.8V, and has a maximum burst current of 950A. Its listed dimensions are 58 x 50 x 38 mm, with a weight of 238 g.
The Smart system sends operating data to the transmitter in real time, allowing settings to be monitored and adjusted while the model is in use. The ESC is water-resistant and includes a limited one-year warranty.
