The Guild Materials Guild Lane Jubilee Maker Paint in Light Aircraft Grey (500ml) uses the CC-22 self-levelling formula to leave a smooth, soft-sheen finish on a multitude of surfaces. It is suitable for metal, glass, paper, wood, plastic, fabric, leather, ceramic, stone and more, in a versatile 500ml size (GLDJ105004).
This all-purpose, water-based acrylic is made for makers and crafters seeking dependable results indoors or outdoors, without the need for priming or sealing. Part of the Jubilee palette inspired by historic British Standard colours of the 1930s.
Light Aircraft Grey Story
Introduced by the RAF in 1945, Light Aircraft Grey was originally applied to aircraft undersides to minimise visual signature from the ground, including over water and at low altitude. By the late 1970s it was also adopted as an overall airframe colour on certain designs.

Light Aircraft Grey Story
Light Aircraft Grey was introduced by the RAF in 1945. The colour was originally used for the undersides of aircraft because it greatly minimised the visual signature from the ground, even when flying close to water or at low altitude. By the late 1970s, Light Aircraft Grey was extended to cover the entire airframe of certain designs.
