Guild Materials’ Guild Lane Jubilee Maker Paint, Transvaal Grey (60ml), part no. GLDJ101006, uses the CC-22 self-levelling formula to deliver a smooth, soft-sheen finish. Suitable for metal, glass, paper, wood, plastic, fabric, leather, ceramic and stone. Waterproof and hard-wearing for indoor or outdoor projects.
Transvaal Grey takes its cue from the 1947 Royal Tour of southern Africa, where it was described as 'a soft tone of pale grey, adaptable to all occasions' — a timeless shade within the Jubilee British heritage palette.
Directions
Stir well before use. No priming or sealing required. Touch dry in under one hour; fully cured in 12–24 hours. Clean brushes with warm, soapy water. Low odour, non-hazardous and non-toxic, with the lowest possible VOC rating.

In 1947, the Royal family (King George VI, his wife Queen Elizabeth and his two daughters, Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret) embarked on a three-month tour of southern Africa. The queen consort selected two colours for her outfits: Transvaal Grey and Natal Rose. Named after the South African province of Transvaal, Transvaal Grey was described as 'a soft tone of pale grey, adaptable to all occasions .
