Description
The Hobao H94002N 9-tooth pinion gear offers a simple way to fine-tune your drivetrain gearing. A 9T pinion typically delivers stronger acceleration and increased torque, with a trade-off in top speed, making it a practical choice for tighter tracks, technical terrain, or when seeking cooler running.
Suggested Compatibility
- Hobao Hyper MT Sport Plus II (also known as Hyper MT Plus II)
Use this pinion to tailor your gear ratio to conditions and driving style. Always refer to your vehicle manual to confirm gear pitch, motor shaft size, and recommended mesh settings.
Tuning Notes
- Lower tooth counts generally increase punch and reduce peak speed.
- Check gear mesh carefully to minimise wear and noise.
- Use appropriate thread locking on the grub screw if specified by your manual.
