Hi would you know if the hpi dsx-1 nitro body shell fits the hpi rush evo nitro as the rush has been discontinued for some time now ?

Yes they are the same scale so should not be a problem.

This will fit most HPI 1:10 trucks - it doesn't have to be nitro. It is not pre-cut.
