The Kyosho Lazer ZX7.5 Diff Gear Case (Plastic), part K.LAW87, is a lightweight centre differential crown and pinion gear set for suggested compatibility with the Lazer ZX7.5. It is designed to reduce drivetrain weight and improve throttle responsiveness, helping provide a quicker response from the throttle during off-road driving.
Track Use
Kyosho developed the LAW87 for Stock and Modified class racing on dirt and low-grip surfaces. The gear set has been tested in off-road racing and is intended for conditions where a lightweight centre differential gear arrangement can support throttle response and handling. Its suggested use is limited to low-grip dirt tracks.
This component is not suitable for high-traction surfaces such as astro or carpet. For high-traction racing, Kyosho recommends using the LAW88 centre slipper clutch configuration instead.
