Kyosho Speed House HOR Brushless Combo Set K.GPW23

The Kyosho Speed House HOR Hanging-On Racer Brushless Combo Set (K.GPW23) is a brushless motor set for the Hang-On Racer series. It combines the KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE BRAINZ 18 electronic speed controller with the KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE TORX 18 brushless motor.

The motor's torque output helps keep the bike stable when accelerating out of corners. Kyosho states that the brushless combination can increase top speed to 1.4 times that of the standard brushed motor supplied with the kit. Its suggested compatibility is with Hang-On Racer series models, although the stated technical performance may not apply to every suspension-equipped racing model.

The BRAINZ 18 ESC accepts 6- to 9-cell Ni-MH batteries from 7.2 V to 10.8 V, as well as 2S to 3S LiPo batteries from 7.4 V to 11.1 V. It provides a maximum continuous current of 30 A and includes low-voltage cut-off and thermal protection. The ESC is compatible with 2030 and 2435 motors, with a recommended motor size of 270 to 390 class.

The TORX 18 motor has a 5,000 rpm/V KV rating and supports the same Ni-MH and LiPo voltage ranges. For the gearbox, Kyosho recommends using the GPW3C reinforced pinion gear with the GP109B spur gear and pinion gear set for the Hang-On Racer. These parts are suggested gearbox accessories rather than included components of this combo set.
