Description
Method RC Geoform Belted MT 1/5 Tyres On Array Rims 24mm Hex (MTD1001V2) is a pair of pre-glued, belted MT tyres for 1/5-scale radio-controlled models. The tyres are supplied fitted to Array rims with 24mm hexes, foam inserts and an injection-moulded one-piece wheel design.
The tread is made for dirt, grass and other softer off-road surfaces. Its generous depth helps clear debris while providing a clear visual indicator as the tread wears. Internal webbing in the tread base reduces pin flex, and the belt-equipped rubber construction is designed to limit tyre expansion during high-speed running. This helps maintain a more consistent tyre profile and reduces the gyro effect, which can lower the load placed on the steering servo, axles, plastic components and hub bearings.
Factory pre-gluing means the tyres and rims arrive assembled. The hand-laid belt construction combines with the rubber compound to provide controlled expansion and predictable handling for basher-style and off-road driving. For suggested compatibility with Traxxas XRT and X-MAXX models, separate hexes may be needed.
