HPI Reactor 200 AC Charger (AUS) - HPI-118052

The HPI Reactor 200 Charger (AUS), part HPI-118052, is an AC balance charger for 2-3S LiPo and LiFe battery packs, plus 4-8 cell NiMh and NiCd packs. Its built-in power supply operates from a 100-240V AC input, so no separate power adapter is required. The charger provides a straightforward three-button and LED setup for selecting the charging mode and current.

Suggested battery compatibility includes LiPo, LiFe, NiMh and NiCd packs within the supported cell ranges. LiPo and LiFe batteries are charged through their balance leads, while reverse polarity protection helps guard against incorrect connections. The selectable 0.7A setting is suited to smaller packs, while the 2.0A setting provides a higher charging current for suitable batteries.

The Reactor 200 is designed as a step up from mains-powered trickle chargers and the low-amperage USB peak chargers often supplied with electric RTR cars. Its maximum output power is 16W. When charging LiPo battery packs, HPI recommends adding the #160013 Plazma Pouch as part of the charging setup.
