Description
The Tamiya 40ft Dry Van Semi-Trailer HC-56382 is a 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit for Tamiya Tractor Trucks. It recreates the style of a semi-trailer commonly seen in the USA, with a simple cargo-box design and newly shaped side panels featuring a wave pattern.
This trailer uses the Item 56302 chassis and parts as its base, while updating the appearance with black-moulded plastic components and aluminium panels. Aluminium is used for the cargo area and many chassis parts, giving the completed model a substantial feel and supporting durability during operation. The lower sides of the cargo area can be decorated with supplied stickers showing US-style red-and-white reflective plates, height indicators and other small details.
The cargo-area door opens and closes using an authentic construction. Leaf spring suspension is used beneath the chassis, and the straightforward styling makes the trailer suitable for suggested compatibility with Tamiya 1/14 scale Tractor Trucks in modern or classic styles. It can also be used with suggested Tamiya Tractor Truck Option Series accessories, including Motorized Support Legs and LED products. The tractor truck and option parts are sold separately.

We are delighted to announce the release of the 40-Foot Dry Van Semi-Trailer for Tamiya 1/14 R/C Tractor Truck which recreates a style of semi-trailer common in the USA. This is a successor to Item 56302 Semi Trailer which was sold from 1993 to 2022. Its simple design lets the updated and more realistic aluminium panels really stand out. It can be connected to any of Tamiya's 1/14 scale Tractor Trucks.
About the Model
