The XRay T2 008 Right Aluminium Layshaft Bulkhead (XR303013) is a CNC-machined right-side layshaft bulkhead crafted from premium Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium. Redesigned for the T2'009 architecture, it delivers a high-strength, rigid anchoring point for suspension and transmission components while keeping weight to a minimum. Strategic machining creates an ultra-low, compact skeletal framework, and XRAY’s precisely chamfered edges underline the high-quality finish.

The split-bulkhead concept enables independent mounting of rear suspension components and positions the centre layshaft on its own narrow supports. This layout improves access to front and rear differentials and the middle layshaft, making spur gear and diff changes quick and straightforward.

This is a optional XRAY Aluminum Right Side Layshaft Bulkhead, and is intended for use with the XRAY T2 009. This CNC-machined right-side layshaft bulkhead is made from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and has been completely redesigned for the T2’009.

Designed to provide a high-strength and rigid anchoring point for suspension and transmission components, the bulkheads are CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and have been strategically machined to provide the lightest yet strongest possible skeletal framework for the car, and thanks to the ultra-low platform it was possible to create the lowest, smallest, and lightest bulkheads ever.

The rear bulkheads feature a split design, allowing the rear suspension to be mounted to separate bulkheads, while the center layshaft sits on its own, even narrow bulkheads which are positioned even closer to the center of the chassis. XRAY’s attention to detail is noticeable with all the precisely chamfered edges. The split design of the bulkheads also enables extra-easy access to front and rear differentials and middle layshaft. Changing the diffs and spur gear is quick and easy.
