Blockers-Blue Compound (fits 1:8 Buggy)
Brand: JConcepts
Part No: SCH-JC3150-01
Shadow Stock: Usually ships within 2 days
Designed for top-tier racing, the JConcepts Blockers (Blue, SCH-JC3150-01) deliver consistent pace on abrasive tracks and in long main events. Evolved from Stalkers and Reflex, the ultra-tight tread increases contact and control, while the refined carcass balances weight, footprint and drivability.
Each pin starts with the proven Stalkers-style angled profile for initial bite, then tightens at the base to stabilise the tyre. Stacked rows with simple, connected pins generate strong forward acceleration and allow controlled drift across dusty or bumpy sections. Clipped outer pins calm initial turn-in. The Blue compound adds stability and flexibility for fast qualifying, and Dirt-Tech closed-cell inserts are included. 83 mm bead mounting size with suggested compatibility for 1/8 buggies.

Proven At The Highest Level
At the 2018 IFMAR World Championships in Perth, Ryan Maifield used Blockers to set the quickest Semi time and secure pole position for the 60-minute A-Final.

The design team checked over the carcass dimensions, profile, overall height and width to assure the best balance of weight and drivability. The Blockers began with a Stalkers style pin which has slight angle on each side for separation at the top. This fine detail gives increased bite in wet conditions providing some versatility to the design. As the pins meet the base of the tire, the spacing tightens considerably giving a stable footing for the Blockers.
A lot of technique is used in designing tires, however, the Blockers simply use more pins. The technique and experience comes into play when deciding where and how many. The JConcepts professionals analyzed the latest race worn tires and simply knew what to do. Using softer compounds such as blue and green, the tire has incredible stability and flexibility for fast qualifying. The additional pin real-estate provides a lot of cushion for extended main events and when paired with long-wear compounds such as R2 and O2 the race pace can be pushed out to 45-60 minutes with ease. The stacked row configuration and simple connected pins offer massive forward acceleration.
The aligned rows allow some surface drift making the tires forgiving in sand and bumpy track sections. The outside pin has been clipped to help drive-ability and ease the initial turn-in drivers often have concern for. The JConcepts tires include the Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts made famous by their gray color and durability. The package is complete with re-sealable, zip-top packaging and backed with JConcepts customer support and racing heritage.
