      Hi does this sound unit have a beetle sound I'm looking for one to put in my kyosho beetle + does it have to have a separate battery

      No this will not have a beetle sound on it, you would be better looking at  AS29262

      as you can download and upload sounds on to this one

      They will power up from the battery in the car.
