Request Stock NotificationThe Hobbytech CRX18 Grey brings the acclaimed CRX platform to a compact 1/18th scale package. Designed like its larger 1/10th scale brother, it features a metal beam chassis and a centrally mounted gearbox set slightly forward, with the motor positioned low to help lower the centre of gravity. Each axle is linked to the chassis via a 4-link setup, while a micro 3‑wire steering servo with a standard plug sits on the foredeck in an AMS assembly for precise control.
Electronics are neatly integrated via an all‑in‑one receiver/ESC module that provides nine sockets, enabling a complete lighting system with indicators and brake lights. Out of the box, the CRX18 includes two LED headlights that can be switched from the radio. Power comes from a micro brushed 55T motor and a 2S 600 mAh battery capable of providing several hours of driving, whether you prefer indoor courses or outdoor rock sections.
Aesthetically, the CRX18 is a faithful miniature of the full‑size CRX, including a body with matching grille and scale accessories such as jerrican, snorkel, wipers and mirrors. The axles share the same design as those on the CRX2, and the tyres are reproduced from the CRX for dependable grip. A thoughtful touch: the running boards include a slot that houses the lower bodywork to help protect it against obstacles. Optional upgrades are available to tailor performance and style, including ball bearings and hydraulic shock absorbers.
Thanks to its light weight, balanced layout and efficient tyres, the CRX18 shows impressive capability on rocky terrain. The included radio allows you to adjust limit switches for speed and direction, so you can fine‑tune throttle response and steering to suit different obstacles and surfaces.

The CRX 18 is a 1/18th scale version of the CRX:
The mini 1/18th scale is designed like its bigger 1/10th scale brother: metal beam chassis, central gearbox (positioned slightly forward) with a motor in the low position and 2 axles which are each connected to the chassis by 4 links.
The micro steering servo is a 3-wire model with a standard plug. To lower the center of gravity as much as possible, it is located on the foredeck (AMS assembly). The motorization is entrusted to a micro brushed 55T motor.

The CRX18 allows you to drive indoors or outdoors. Both small and large spaces suit it perfectly. Its crossing abilities are impressive. On the rocks: its lightness, its balance and the efficiency of its tyres allow it to overcome incredible obstacles. The radio allows you to adjust the limit switches (speed and direction). The throttle setting allows you to fine-tune your steering and adapt the speed of the CRX18 to the terrain and obstacles.
