Hobbytech CRX2 Builders Kit LC70 Painted Body 313mm wb

The Hobbytech CRX2 Builders Kit LC70 Painted Body 313mm WB (HT-8-CRX2-LC70) combines the latest CRX2 multi-position chassis with a factory-painted LC70 body. Supplied with a tilt body assembly (without clips), 1.9 inch tyres and rims, and a sticker sheet, this builders kit requires assembly and separate electronics.

Redesigned throughout, the CRX2 introduces an adjustable wheelbase, an anti torque twist transmission with counter-rotating central driveshafts, 0° Ackerman steering for improved manoeuvrability, robust new axles and links, and a chassis-mounted servo (CMS) with Panhard support. A multi-position battery mount helps you optimise weight distribution and accept different battery sizes.

Adjustable Wheelbase

Thanks to its adjustable wheelbase, the CRX2 multi-position frame can be adapted to a large number of bodies. This version is supplied with an LC70 painted body at 313 mm wheelbase.

0° Ackerman Steering

New stub axles and CVD driveshafts deliver a 0° Ackerman angle so the front wheels remain parallel in turns, improving steering angle and manoeuvrability.

Battery Support

The multi-position battery tray lets you choose different positions to tune performance and weight balance, and accommodates various battery sizes and formats.

Anti Torque Twist System

To counter torque twist, the transmission drives the central shafts in opposite directions, helping the CRX2 climb with greater stability and efficiency.

Tyres and Shocks

Supplied "Climber" 121/45 tyres (#HT-SU1802000) on 1.9 rims include foam inserts (diameter 121 mm, width 45 mm) with suggested compatibility for TRX-4 platforms. The 90 mm Wolf aluminium shocks support droop and semi-droop builds. Recommended setups: semi-droop (small soft spring bottom, medium soft spring top) or droop (medium soft spring bottom, small soft spring top). For lubrication, fill part of the body with very light silicone oil (around 100 cps).
