The Reedy Sonic 900 Competition 1:8 Buggy Motor 1900Kv (AS27495) is engineered for top-tier 1:8 eBuggy racing. Developed by Reedy’s engineering team alongside factory drivers, the Sonic 900 delivers performance that exceeds the demands of high-level competition. A precision CNC-machined can with integrated heat sink helps lower operating temperatures to reduce fade over a race, extend run times, and promote long motor life.

Sensored operation ensures a smooth, controllable power band, while a powerful balanced 4‑pole rotor runs on dual precision ball bearings for reliability. Adjustable timing provides an extra tuning window, and heavy-duty solder tabs make for secure, low-resistance connections. The 1900Kv version arrives equipped with the AS27498 rotor; each kV option uses a unique, interchangeable rotor (sold separately) so you can fine tune power output and delivery for track conditions and driving style. The Sonic 900 is intended for 1:8 eBuggy use, while the longer-statored 900XL targets heavier eTruggy applications; according to the manufacturer, both can be interchanged between chassis types to create a wide range of performance options.
