It is 2mm longer to better suit new suspension mounts and is optimised for use in extremely hot conditions to help limit flex and deformation.
The harder compound is intended to reduce flex and deformation in high heat, with the trade-off of being less resistant to extreme impacts. The 1-hole layout matches the specified design.

The new hard suspension arm is specifically designed to be used in extremely hot conditions to reduce flex and deformation; however due to reduced flex, the arms are less resistant to extreme impacts.
