Hi. I am looking to upgrade an FTX comet as a project with my son. Can I just buy this motor and replace it or will I need to replace other parts? Ideally I would like to resolve the steering wobble with servo updates. Not sure where to start in learning what parts are needed. Any help most appreciated.

Afraid it's not an easy upgrade on these as they have a combined 3-in-1 ESC/receiver unit.
To fit the brushless system, you'd need this ESC, the motor FTX9108 but then also a new radio system and a new steering servo - often not an easy upgrade (and it may be better to put the funds into a larger, more easily workable car)
