The Hitec HS322HD Karbonite Gear Analogue Servo, part number 2213220, is a standard heavy-duty sport servo supplied in a bulk pack of 10. Designed for economical, dependable control, it combines a tough Karbonite gear train with a reliable three-pole ferrite motor and a long-life potentiometer. Hitec states that the Karbonite gears are four times stronger than standard white nylon gears and maintain their performance through hundreds of thousands of cycles. The nylon bushing-supported output shaft helps provide durable operation for suitable radio-controlled models.

With 3.7kg/cm of torque and a transit speed of 0.15 seconds per 60 degrees, this servo offers a practical balance of control strength and response. Suggested compatibility includes helicopters and aircraft up to 72 inches or 12 pounds when using one servo per control surface. High-vibration petrol engines, large control surfaces and large throws can place additional strain on the gears, so metal-geared servos are suggested for those demanding applications. Do not use thread locker on the Karbonite-geared servo, as this can cause the output shaft to fail.
