The CRX is Hobbytech's first chassis in the "scale" category, entirely designed and developed in France like the other cars in their range. Today, we have the ambition to develop this category which allows you to experience great adventures in the heart of nature, with friends or family. The realism of the CRX quickly makes its driver forget that he is in control of a scale model, so great is the feeling of immersion.

The CRX was designed as a full-size 4x4 with a frame rail, rigid axles. For the reliability of the car and a good weight distribution, we used metal for the chassis (C profile of 1.5mm), the tie rods, the driveshafts and the running boards.

To withstand all stresses, the constant velocity universal joints are made of metal and the entire transmission is mounted on ball bearings.

The engine is entrusted to a 540 sized 55t motor. This motor is placed on the front of the vehicle for a better weight distribution and more realism. This motor perfectly matched to the CRX offers torque and speed while avoiding overheating.

The metal plate located behind the motor can accommodate all types of batteries (2 or 3S) and of different sizes. The batteries are held in place by two Velcro straps.

To be able to drive in a damp environment and in complete peace of mind, the receiver is placed in a splash proof box next to the drive on the rear part of the chassis.

The shock absorbers are metal. An adjustment ring will allow you to quickly modify the preload and thus modify the ground clearance.

The tyres Hobbytech designed for the CRX are versatile and suitable for all surfaces. Their soft rubber will surprise you with great traction. The tyres are mounted on "bead lock" type rims, ie the sidewalls are screwed onto the central part of the rims. This realistic reproduction allows convenient and quick mounting of tyres.

The body of the CRX comes with a multitude of decorative accessories: wipers, mirrors, metal shackles, jerry cans, snorkel.
