Request Stock NotificationThe Hobbytech CRX18 Blue (HT-1-CRX18-BL) brings the spirit of the larger CRX to a compact 1/18 scale platform. It follows the design of its 1/10 counterpart with a metal beam chassis, a centrally mounted gearbox positioned slightly forward, and a low-set motor for a stable centre of gravity.
Each axle is linked to the chassis by a 4-link setup, while steering is handled by a micro 3‑wire servo with a standard plug, mounted on the foredeck (AMS assembly) to help keep weight low. Power comes from a micro brushed 55T motor. An all‑in‑one receiver/ESC module provides nine sockets to support a complete lighting system with turn signals and brake lights; out of the box, two LED headlights are fitted and can be controlled from the radio.
The included 2S 600 mAh battery is designed for extended run times, with the CRX18 equally at home indoors or outdoors. The body mirrors the look of the larger CRX, including scale accessories such as a jerrican, snorkel, wipers and mirrors. Tyres replicate the CRX pattern, and the running boards feature a protective slot to help shield the lower bodywork over obstacles. Many options are noted by the manufacturer to enhance performance or style, including ball bearings and hydraulic shock absorbers.
Despite its small size, the CRX18 is built for technical terrain. Its light weight, balanced layout and tyre efficiency support impressive crawling ability, while the radio allows adjustment of limit switches for speed and direction. Throttle settings can be fine‑tuned to match the terrain and obstacles.

The CRX 18 is a 1/18th scale version of the CRX:
The mini 1/18th scale is designed like its bigger 1/10th scale brother: metal beam chassis, central gearbox (positioned slightly forward) with a motor in the low position and 2 axles which are each connected to the chassis by 4 links.
The micro steering servo is a 3-wire model with a standard plug. To lower the center of gravity as much as possible, it is located on the foredeck (AMS assembly). The motorization is entrusted to a micro brushed 55T motor.
In terms of electronics, the CRX18 is equipped with an all-in-one module (receiver – ESC) which has 9 sockets to connect a complete system with turn signals and brake lights. Originally, the CRX is equipped with 2 LED headlights that can be controlled via the radio. Finally, the battery is a 2S 600 mAh which allows you to drive for several hours.
Aesthetically, the CRX18 is a faithful reproduction of its bigger 1/10th scale brother. The axles have the same design as those fitted to the CRX2. The body has the same grille and the same accessories (jerrican, snorkel, wipers and mirrors). Finally, the tyres are an exact reproduction of the CRX. Nice little detail: the running boards are equipped with a slot in which the lower bodywork is housed so as not to damage it on obstacles.

The CRX18 allows you to drive indoors or outdoors. Both small and large spaces suit it perfectly. Its crossing abilities are impressive. On the rocks: its lightness, its balance and the efficiency of its tyres allow it to overcome incredible obstacles. The radio allows you to adjust the limit switches (speed and direction). The throttle setting allows you to fine-tune your steering and adapt the speed of the CRX18 to the terrain and obstacles.
