J Concepts JConcepts – Body Mount Assembly

The ability to add a large variety of different body shells to fit vehicles like the Traxxas X-Maxx has been solved with the new JConcepts body mount set. The all engineered and injection molded items have the ability to bolt to the existing front and rear shock towers of the high-powered vehicle and offer the ability to adapt new styles of bodies. Already released, the #0460 Ford Raptor body was the first to utilize the new mount method and allows the body to have no unnecessary recessing, holes or changes in the body geometry to accommodate the shape.

The clamping system and bolting pattern of the body mounts are simple and arrive with hardware to complete one vehicle. A mix of 3mm and heavy-duty 4mm hardware and locking nuts give a steady base for the standard and tall length body mounts. The adjustable height mounts in standard length with attached platform fit nicely to the rear of a truck bed style configuration. Another standard mount is included with pivoting platform to be used in the front of the body to match body lines and necessary angles of different designs.

In addition, JConcepts has added a tall version rear mount which also includes pivoting platform to accommodate taller SUV and van style bodies that are currently in development by the team. For body clips, they are included and the locking style design is part of the package to help secure settings for the heavy and larger-scale vehicles. The rubber leash items are also included to help tether the body clips to the body so they are not lost as easily during driving and maintenance days.
