The Castle Creations Thunderbird 9A Flight ESC (P-CC5700) is a compact, microprocessor-controlled electronic speed controller for RC flight models. It integrates a Battery Eliminator Circuit (BEC), soft-start protection and multiple safety functions to deliver smooth, consistent throttle control.

Out of the box, it provides automatic LiPo detection and cutoff for safe operation, with settings that can be changed to fly NiCad/NiMH packs according to the manufacturer description. Simple setup and robust construction make it a practical choice for lightweight applications.
