The Hobbywing EzRun MAX8 V3 150A ESC (XT90), part number HW30103200, is a robust 1/8 scale brushless speed controller engineered for monster trucks and buggies. Delivering strong punch and stable output, it supports aggressive launches, wheelies and high-speed running while maintaining smooth, adjustable start-up for precise control.
Built for hard use, the MAX8 pairs reliable hardware with advanced software to safeguard against overload. The waterproof and dust-proof design, anti-shock cooling fan and maintenance-light construction make it a dependable choice for all-weather conditions, from dusty tracks to wet, muddy sessions. The super built-in, switch-mode BEC provides selectable 6V/7.4V output to suit standard and high-voltage servos, enhancing steering authority and consistency. With XT90 input connectors pre-fitted and 6.5mm female gold connectors on the output side (pre-soldered to the PCB), installation is straightforward. Programmability is flexible too, with support for a WiFi module and convenient access via the fan/program port.

HOBBYWING EZRUN MAX8-V3 SPEED CONTROL
The MAX8 ESC provides the optimal upgrade solution for many popular 1/8th scale monster trucks like TRAXXAS E-REVO & E-MAXX, HPI SAVAGE, and THUNDER TIGER E-MAT. It’s also applicable to other trucks and buggies. The whole ESC except the cooling fan is basically maintenance free. Besides, the fan has also adopted the special anti-shock design, reduced damage brought by frequent jumps of the vehicle, greatly reduced maintenance work to the fan.
Reliable hardware combined with advanced software allows the ESC to not only provide extremely high output but also protect itself timely from damages caused by overload. It significantly reduces the possibility of getting damaged by heavy load and improves the reliability and durability.
The ESC has strong outbreak and stable output, so vehicle can do different moves without a problem, no matter aggressive start-up and wheelie, 720-degree flip (note 1), high speed running on straight tracks or flying over slopes. It always provide the power more than sufficient. Besides, driver can adjust relevant parameters for smooth and soft start-up.

On a system like this we would not advise using deans plugs as they are only a very low ampage rating
That will work fine you may find the bullets are a different size , please do not modify the connectors on the esc as this will void warranties.
