Mission Models Black Primer, 1oz (MMPS001) is a low odour, water-based surface primer that lays down a smooth, durable base without obscuring fine detail. It dries like a second skin with an eggshell finish that promotes excellent adhesion for subsequent coats.

For correct use, mix and activate only with Mission Models (MMP) Thinner. The thinner is powerful, so use sparingly; if the coating sprays translucent, it has been over-thinned. The primer can appear thicker in the bottle—this is normal. No sanding is required, but the cured finish can be sanded if desired. Available in five colours to help fine-tune the tone of additional layers.
