Tamiya Lexan Spray Paint - PS-48 Anodised Silver (HC-86048) is a metallic silver polycarbonate spray designed for clear RC car bodies. Part of Tamiya’s Metallic range, it delivers a sparkling aluminium-style finish and high shine. Each can contains 100ml (approx. 3oz) of paint, suitable for finishing a typical body.

This is a 3oz can of metallic silver polycarbonate spray paint from Tamiya. The Metallic range has proven extremely popular, and thanks to special research, these new colors shine more than ever before. PS-48 Metallic Silver gives a sparkling aluminum finish.
NOTE: After spraying your first coat with PS-48, spray underside with
PS-5 Black for even brighter finish.
These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies used in R/C car modeling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing a model. Small detail work should be brush painted beforehand using Tamiya bottle paints for polycarbonate. Paint the body from the inside, keeping the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing, apply another coat. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies. Never use these paints on plastic models.
