The Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet 400 (HC-87147) is a flexible abrasive sheet designed for fine finishing on plastic models and for smoothing wood or metal. The 5mm sponge backing conforms to curves and reaches into corners, helping you remove mould lines and surface imperfections with control. It can be cut to the exact shape or size you need using a modelling knife and is suitable for wet sanding to minimise dust and improve the finish.
Using an aluminium oxide abrasive, this single 114 x 140mm sheet offers consistent performance and is a versatile addition to any modelling toolbox.
