GBPMission Models Airbrush Acrylics Paints for RC Models | Page 3
Explore our Airbrush Acrylics in the Paint range, ideal for RC car bodies, scale kits and scenery. Choose from Mission Models, Hobbynox, Pactra and ProLine colours, plus matched thinners, primers and cleaners.
Why acrylics? Low odour, quick drying and easy clean-up, while still giving smooth, controllable coverage. For polycarbonate/lexan shells, pick products marked as polycarbonate-safe and use a compatible primer or adhesion promoter; apply light, even coats on the inside of the shell for best durability.
Tips: Thin with the brand’s reducer as directed (often 10–30%) and spray at roughly 15–25 PSI through a 0.2–0.5 mm needle. Build up multiple fine coats, allow proper flash-off, then seal with a suitable clear coat – flexible for RC bodies, or matt/gloss for scalers and static models. Clean your airbrush promptly with the recommended acrylic cleaner to keep performance consistent.
We keep large UK stocks for fast order turnaround, and our friendly, knowledgeable team is on hand to help you choose colours and compatible consumables. UK customers can choose speedy shipping options, including next day delivery on in-stock items. Ready to paint? Browse the range below and get your project looking its best.
