Hi I’m interested in this but I see it doesn’t have a fly wheel or clutch bell. I want to put it in a savage x and use a 14t clutch bell would you be able to fit the parts to make it complete if I pay for the parts??
Asked by Peter on 27th May 2019

Yes - most engines are supplied without clutch/flywheel, etc as these items are deemed part of the car rather than the engine.

This should fit a Savage no problem.

Could I fit a pullstart to this engine ?
Asked by Matt on 1st March 2020

I don’t think you can fit one directly to that model.

There is a pullstart version of that engine which we sell: LRP32821

Then there is a pullstarter replacement: LRP38556

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

How do you start it ?
Asked by Andrew on 7th April 2020

These are flywheel start

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

I see you can get stock of the lrp32x I want to fit into my savage xl. Not keen on the original engine. I see this doesn’t come with a pull start. Do you do the system to start it as well cheers Mike
Asked by Michael Walford on 28th April 2020

This one does not have a pullstart but check out LRP32811 or LRP32821 which do

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi Do you have lrp 32 spec 4 with pullstart not the competition
Asked by Martin on 9th June 2020

That's SCH-LRP32821

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi I am interested about this engine and I want to ask if there is a pullstart for this ,I need also a backplate?
Asked by George Michalakopoulos on 17th December 2020

If you're after a pullstart engine then I'd go for LRP32821

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

would this be a good choice for an mp9 ?
Asked by Casey Fortune on 19th December 2020

Yes that should work well in there

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi , do you sell all the nessersery items to get this to run ie backplate clucth clutch bell flywheel etc also woudk this fit into a hyper ss truggy
Asked by Bradley Milton on 11th January 2021

Yes, those items are however dependent on your buggy.

Something like AB-2300007 should get you up and running - then just a clutch bell to suit your truck

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Can you recommend an exhaust for this engine?
Asked by Mat on 28th January 2021

That would depend a little on your car, but some popular options would be say PIC9589 or H86220 or LRP36255

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Hi I am looking to put this into an old traxxas tmax I have. I upgraded the tmax in the past and it was running a dynamite .26 I had to upgrade some of the gearbox to metal components as it was way to much for the plastic parts. Could you tell me if this one would be a good replacement for the dynamite engine as I can’t seem to find a .26 replacement anymore?
Asked by Chris on 11th February 2021

If you already have a big block kit in there, then I'd imagine this will fit.

If you have the TRX 2.5 / 3.3 style mount however - these will be too large

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

I'm looking at buying the Lrp32 engine without a pull start, could you advise me whether I can get a rotostart to fit it please. If you have an item number/link, I'd be grateful. Thankyou.
Asked by Ben Turner on 15th March 2021

Afraid not - I don't know of a roto that would fit these.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

Is the flexible pipe exhaust manifold available that fits this engine?
Asked by Ben Mayhew on 14th April 2021

These are standard .21 size rear exhausts, so if you have a flexi manifold it'll likely fit this.

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

What flywheel and clutch would I need for this
Asked by Chris Downes on 6th June 2021

These would take most standard clutch setups.

The REDMUQU0063 would be nice for example

Answered by: Ben @ Wheelspin Models

I have the hobao hyper vt 30, will this engine drop in without any mods? ie exhaust, flywheel ,clutch. Regards Lee.
Asked by Lee Demmon on 6th April 2022

Yes this should fit and use your existing parts

Answered by: Si @ Wheelspin Models

Will this engine give better performance than my hobao hyper 30?
Asked by Lee Demmon on 6th April 2022

This is a race spec engine so would have better build quality etc, but performance depends on the tuning of the engine.
