Developed with high-level drivers, the Contact 5 Spoke Rim – 1:8 Rear 35Sh Light (SCH-J83587) uses the brand’s latest Light range plastic. The improved material is approximately 20% lighter while maintaining good strength, just under that of Contact’s carbon rim, and comes in a smart grey finish.

Designed for 1:8 rear applications, the lighter construction promotes a more responsive feel, with benefits including faster acceleration, better traction and increased cornering speeds as noted by the manufacturer. As with many 1/8 scale rims, using a reamer is recommended for a perfect fit.
