Description
The Aerox Tyre Sidewall Gluing Jig for MTC, TC and 1:10 Off Road, part SCH-AX137, is designed to make tyre sidewall glue application easier, cleaner and more consistent. It allows the glue height to be adjusted precisely, helping you create repeatable results when working on multiple tyres.
Fit a pivot ball to the face of the jig with an M3 x 12 countersunk screw, or use one of the supplied ball studs in the required length. The included steel nut locks the ball stud securely in position, while measuring the setting helps repeat the same adjustment later. Raising the pivot point creates a steeper angle and increases coverage across the sidewall, which can reduce steering.
Using the Jig
The outer ring is intended for off-road tyres and the inner ring for touring car tyres. Place the jig inside a plastic tyre bag, apply spots of glue around the rim area and spin the tyre around the jig. The jig can be used alongside CORE RC 929 Thick Sidewall Glue.

The Aerox Tyre Sidewall gluing jig is designed to make sidewall gluing easier, cleaner and more consistent.
This jig allows you to precisely adjust the height of the sidewall glue in a simple, clean way.
Fit a pivot ball to the face of the jig using an M3 x 12 countersunk screw, or use the supplied ball studs of varying lengths. The ball studs can be securely locked in position with the included steel nut, allowing you to achieve the required height. Measure it for repeatable action next time.
A higher pivot point creates a steeper angle, providing higher coverage across the sidewall. Higher coverage = less steering!
