They have sprung steel blades to prevent the terminals coming apart accidentally and gold plated terminals for a good connection.
Backwards compatible with original T connectors so you can use them straight away.
It is recommended to always select the female deans plug for a battery terminal, to reduce the chance of short-circuits.
