The Fusion AS150 7mm Anti-Spark Connector 5prs (O-FS-AS150/05) provides five sets of high-current connectors for reliable RC power connections. Each 7mm gold plated, shielded connector is rated to 150A. The anti-spark side is intended for the positive lead to minimise arcing and help protect connectors and electronics.
How It Works
Connect the negative wire first, then the positive wire using the anti-spark connector. The tip of the anti-spark plug makes initial contact and pre-charges the speed controller capacitors via an internal resistor. When the main body engages, the capacitors are already at battery voltage, helping to avoid sparks.

The anti-spark connector allows a two stage connection to the speed controller. Initially the tip of the anti spark plug is connected to the battery, allowing it to slowly charge the capacitors in the speed controller via the resistor inside the connector. By the time the main body of the connector makes contact, the capacitors will be pre-charged to the battery voltage, avoiding any sparks.
