Representing over 3,000 Bü 131 aircraft produced in Germany, this ICM kit brings the classic trainer to the bench with precise moulding and a well-appointed cockpit and engine. The four decal options provide attractive choices across Eastern Front and home-based German schemes from 1942–1944. A solid choice for builders looking for a historically grounded subject with clean fit and crisp detail.

The first serial aircraft manufactured by the firm “Bücker Flugzeugbau GmbH” was a light two-seat training aircraft known as the Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann. The first serial version of the Bü 131A (first flown in 1934) proved to be a very successful machine with outstanding flight characteristics.

The second serial version, which had a more powerful engine, was the Bü 131B. This type of aircraft was built not only for civilian flight schools in Germany, but was also used extensively in the Luftwaffe. An improved version, Bü 131D, was in service from 1939 onwards. In total, over 3,000 of the Bü 131 series aircraft were produced in Germany.
