The BlackZon Smyter DB is a 1/12 scale desert buggy designed for all-out fun on a variety of surfaces. With a rugged roll cage housing realistic driver and co-driver figures, gnarly beadlock-effect treaded tyres and a fully functioning spare wheel, it brings tough looks and dependable performance to your next bash session.
Under the body, the Smyter DB packs a 4WD shaft drivetrain, independent double wishbone suspension and adjustable coilover shocks for confident handling. Front and rear 4-gear differentials help it clamber over mixed terrain indoors or out, while a protective gear cover, servo saver built into the servo horn and splashproof electronics add peace of mind when the ground gets dusty or damp.
Power comes from a preloaded brushed 390 motor fed by a Li‑Ion 7.4V 1500mAh battery with a T‑Plug connector, and convenient USB charging keeps you rolling. The 2.4GHz transmitter features an easy-to-use speed switch, so newcomers can dial things down while seasoned drivers open it up. For extra flair, a bonus optional LED light set is included to fit to the front bumper. This battery is actually 1500 mah not 1300 as advertised , you could run 2s lipo instead but you would get no benefits and not as much runtime.
