Body Post Trimmer - Black

The Arrowmax Body Post Trimmer in Black (AM190041) is a compact aluminium tool that helps you cut RC body posts cleanly, consistently and to a repeatable height. Choose between 6 mm or 10 mm by flipping the tool’s orientation, then secure a cutter knife/scalpel with the knurled screw. Finish with a precise 1 mm chamfer for a professional look and smoother body shell installation. Also available in Grey (AM190042) and Purple (AM190040).

How To Use

• Preparation: Fit your body shell to the car and set the correct height, then remove the body before trimming.
• Step 1: Place the Body Post Trimmer on the first body post and select 6 mm or 10 mm length by orientation.
• Step 2: Loosen the knurled screw, insert your cutter knife/scalpel, then tighten until the blade seats at the end of the slot.
• Step 3: Cut and remove the top of the post along with the trimmer; repeat for all posts.
• Final Cut: Use the stud hole over the post and rotate the trimmer about 360° under light pressure to form a neat 1 mm chamfer.

Tip: If chamfering isn’t working as expected, adjust the blade gap to approximately 0.2–0.5 mm to the edge of the aluminium body. The result is smooth, chamfered posts of equal length, helping your body shell glide on easily.
