Description

The ICM BTR-152V - Armoured Personnel Carrier, part number HC-ICM72531, is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit of the Soviet armoured personnel carrier. It represents the BTR-152V, which was adopted as a standard Soviet Army APC in 1958 after development during the 1946-1950 period.

The full-size vehicle was developed using the ZiL-157 army truck as its base. The BTR-152V also formed the basis for a range of specialist vehicles, including command and staff mobile posts, medical vehicles and self-propelled anti-aircraft guns. Related versions served with Soviet and Warsaw Pact armies, as well as armed forces in countries aligned with the Soviet Union. The type also saw use during conflicts in the Middle East, Angola and Vietnam.

Kit Features

This model kit contains 61 parts and includes detailed assembly instructions to guide construction. The sprues are designed with detailed moulded parts for building the BTR-152V in miniature. Once assembled, the model measures 95 mm in length and 36 mm in height, making it suitable for 1:72 scale military vehicle collections, dioramas and display projects.

The kit provides a choice of two historical marking options: a BTR-152V serving with the Czechoslovakian Army during the 1960s, or a vehicle from the Soviet Army in the same period. These options allow the finished model to represent either of the supplied liveries.
