Overview
This water-resistant system features updated circuitry in the SV3 for quicker throttle response and improved reliability. The included 1406-4600KV motor is sensored and rebuildable, allowing modelers to service and even replace damaged motor wires. While the SV3 operates sensorless, the combo offers smooth, strong power and is ready to run out of the box.
Suggested Compatibility & Use
- 1/10 off-road, on-road and rock crawlers on up to 3S LiPo (sensorless operation with SV3).
- 2WD short course trucks on 2S LiPo with conservative gearing.
- 1/10 2WD stadium trucks and buggies on 2S for general bashing; limited 3S running as temperatures can rise quickly.
- 1/10 on-road cars on 2S–3S LiPo.
- Not suggested for 4WD short course trucks.
Programming & Tuning
Out of the box, the SV3 is transmitter-programmable. Expanded settings and firmware updates are available via a Windows PC using the Castle Link USB adapter or a Field Link card (both sold separately). Tune brake and throttle curves, throttle response, drag brake and more.
