Description
The CEN Racing Matrix E 1:10 2WD Buggy RTR - Blue, part number CEN8111, is a ready-to-run electric radio-controlled buggy with rear-wheel drive and a brushed motor. It features a pre-painted racing-specification body and wing in blue, along with 2.2-inch racing tyres mounted on purpose-styled wheels.
Power comes from an RS-550 high-torque brushed motor controlled by a HobbyWing-powered 60A WP-1060 brushed electronic speed controller. The ESC is waterproof and dustproof for all-weather use, with automatic throttle calibration, built-in capacitor module, low-voltage cut-off for Li-Po and NiMH batteries, overheat protection and throttle signal loss protection.
Features
The Matrix E uses a low-centre-of-gravity moulded composite chassis with full ball-bearing support and an easy-access battery tray measuring 160 x 48mm. Its fully independent double-wishbone suspension uses adjustable, oil-filled coil-over shocks with oversized bodies and 3mm hardened steel polished shafts. A slipper clutch and metal transmission gears support the rear-motor 2WD drivetrain.
Control is provided by CEN's AMP30 three-channel 2.4GHz radio system. The transmitter includes digital trim, steering dual-rate adjustment, end-point adjustment and a built-in failsafe. Steering uses a Savox-powered servo with a high-torque servo saver horn and a 25T horn gear spline. Four AA alkaline batteries are required for the transmitter and are not included.
